Thornton in Craven Community Primary School is a small rural primary school with a big heart, where every child is valued and encouraged to develop a caring, respectful attitude towards others.

We are proud to provide a safe, happy, inclusive and nurturing environment where pupils, staff, parents and visitors feel welcomed, supported and respected. We recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of every child, ensuring that all pupils, including those who may be vulnerable or require additional support, receive the provision they need to thrive both academically and personally.
